Posting here is perfectly alright!! In "Cosplay Chat", you can start literally any thread on any cosplay related topic you would like.
Also, your cosplays totally blew me away!! It's cool we have such a great cosplayer in AES! I'm especially impressed by the lolita, someday I would like to give it a shot! Unfortunately from what I've observed lolita is one of the more expensive hobbies to attempt..hmmm...

Ahh, your lolita outfit is very cute! I like the split wig you used, I think it pulls the coord together. Oh, and Jewel, you might find yourself more into places like ClobbaOnline, which is an ordering service for the Chinese Site TaoBao that focuses specifically on lolita fashion from the site. The stuff there still doesn't beat the prices of more normal clothes, but everything is significantly cheaper than the more high-profile brands like Angelic Pretty, BTSSB, MMM, and so on. The prices are more reflective of the quality and less of the label. Though it's all still pretty expensive to create a wardrobe....if you don't mind the time it takes to buy peice by peice, you might really like having and wearing these clothes on a regular basis! My favorite feature since I'm pretty darn thick and busty, is that many of these dresses can be tailored to my measurements. Which is something those other brands just don't do! <3 clobbaonline.com/

Oh, thank you for the suggestion! I do indeed struggle with finding plus sized things, so that's pretty awesome that they can be tailored. As much as I love admiring the fashion, I find the idea of wearing lolita myself quite intimidating, but hopefully someday soon I'll give it a try.
